Bertram The Pomeranian (BERT) is a meme coin on Solana, named after Bertram, a fluffy Pomeranian dog who became famous online. It launched in 2024 and rode the wave of dog-themed Solana meme coins, reaching a market value of over $180 million at its November 2024 peak.
Like many meme coins, BERT is driven by its community and social media. Unlike some, it has tried to add a purpose: the project is linked to Woofhub, an AI-powered platform for pet care and dog adoption that aims to channel meme-coin attention toward animal shelters.
How it works
BERT is a standard Solana token. It can be traded on Solana exchanges and, since June 2026, on Binance.US, as well as on other centralized exchanges. The token’s contract has been audited.

Risks
- Pure meme. BERT’s price depends on attention, social media and meme-coin market mood.
- Small size. With a market value of around $12 million, a few large trades can move the price sharply.
- Unproven utility. Woofhub is a nice idea, but it does not yet create meaningful demand for the token.
- Copycats. Many dog coins exist; check the token address before buying.

Our verdict
BERT is a friendly meme coin with a real dog behind it and a charitable angle through Woofhub. But it is very small, has little utility and has fallen about 94% from its peak. BERT is a pure gamble: if you buy it, use only money you are fully prepared to lose.
