Rug pull

Also called: rug · rugged

In shortWhen a project's creators suddenly take the investors' money and disappear.

Typical forms: developers remove all liquidity from a pool, sell a large hidden token allocation, or use a backdoor in the contract. Anonymous teams, unlocked liquidity and wallets holding most of the supply are red flags.
